Website maintenance in Brisbane

Website maintenance for Brisbane businesses, month to month.

Your website needs updates, backups and someone to call when something breaks. Our care plans cover hosting, security and software updates, uptime monitoring, backups and a set number of hours for changes each month, with a Brisbane team that answers.

For sites whose original developer has moved on

Many Brisbane business websites were built a few years ago by a freelancer or agency who is no longer around. The site still works, but its software is out of date, nobody has the logins for the hosting, and no one knows whether the backups run. Problems usually surface at the worst time: the site goes down, the contact form quietly stops sending, or the hosting company flags malware.

We start by taking stock: we find the logins and where the site is hosted, check what is out of date, and test that backups actually restore. Then we move the site onto a monthly routine, so updates happen on schedule and changes are handled by someone who knows the site.

What a care plan covers

  • Updates and security

Software and security updates applied and tested on a schedule, not when something breaks.

  • Backups and monitoring

Regular backups that are tested, and uptime monitoring that tells us when your site goes down.

  • Changes each month

Up to 1 hour of text, image and page changes a month, or 3 hours on the growth plan.

  • A health check

On the growth plan, a monthly check of speed, forms and search basics, with fixes before they cost you enquiries.

Website maintenance questions from Brisbane businesses

How much does website maintenance cost in Brisbane?

Care plans are priced on what’s being looked after and how much help you want each month. They’re month to month with 30 days’ notice, and larger jobs are quoted up front.

Can you look after a website someone else built?

Yes, if it is custom-built. We start with a quick review of the code, the hosting and the backups, and tell you about anything urgent before the plan begins.

Do you maintain WordPress sites?

No. Our care plans are for sites we have built and for custom-built sites. If your WordPress site keeps breaking or is hard to change, we can quote to rebuild it on a setup that needs less upkeep, and then look after it.

What happens if the site goes down?

Monitoring alerts us, and we respond within 2 business days on Website care and within 1 on Website growth. If a site is regularly having problems, we will tell you why and what it would take to fix properly.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. Plans are month to month. You keep ownership of your website, domain and hosting accounts, and if you leave we hand everything over.
