Websites in Brisbane

Websites built to be found, and to convert.

Your website is often the first conversation a customer has with your business. We plan the structure, write to the questions people actually ask, design every page and build it to load fast on a phone. Your team can update it without a developer, and technical SEO is part of the build rather than an add-on.

Signs your website is costing you work

  • Enquiries have dried up, or never started

The site gets visits but the phone and inbox stay quiet. That usually means visitors can’t tell quickly what you do, where, and what to do next.

  • It looks dated next to competitors

Buyers compare two or three businesses before they call. An older site makes a good business look like the riskier choice.

  • It’s slow or awkward on a phone

Most local searches happen on a phone. If pages take more than a few seconds or the buttons are hard to tap, people go back to Google and pick the next result.

  • You can’t update it yourself

If every change needs a developer, prices and services go out of date, and small edits end up costing more than they should.

  • You don’t show up on Google or in AI answers

Sites without clear service pages, page titles and structured data are hard for search engines and AI assistants to understand, so they recommend someone else.

  • You have no idea what it brings in

Without enquiry tracking you can’t tell which pages, searches or ads lead to work, so every marketing decision is a guess.

Is websites right for you?

A good fit if

  • Your website is meant to bring in enquiries, not just prove you exist
  • You compete with other local businesses in search results
  • You want to edit pages yourself without calling a developer
  • You are replacing a site that already has some Google rankings to protect
  • You want the site measured, so you know what it brings in

Probably not the right fit if

  • You only need a single page with contact details for now. A website builder will do
  • Almost all your work comes through referrals and nobody compares you online
  • You need an online store with hundreds of products. A dedicated ecommerce platform is usually a better starting point

How it runs

How a websites project runs

Fixed scope and price before work starts, working results to review at every stage, and one team from first call to launch.

  1. Week 1

    Discovery and structure

A short workshop on your services, customers and competitors. We agree the pages, what each one needs to say and how visitors should move through the site.

  2. Week 2

    Design of the key pages

The homepage and a service page designed first and shown in the browser, so you see real type, spacing and behaviour on your own phone. Two rounds of changes.

  3. Weeks 3–4

    Build and content

The remaining pages built on the same design, your content added, the editor set up, forms connected and tracking installed. Redirects from your old site mapped.

  4. Week 5

    Checks and launch

Speed, accessibility, mobile and search checks. We launch, submit the sitemap to Google, train your team and watch the first two weeks of data.

What moves the price

  • Number of different page layouts

Twenty pages built from three layouts cost far less than twenty pages that each need their own design.

  • Who writes the words

Supplying finished text keeps the price down. Having us interview you and write every page adds cost, and usually adds the most value.

  • Integrations

Booking, CRM, email marketing or payment connections each need setup and testing.

  • Moving an old site

Replacing a site with many pages or years of rankings needs redirects and careful content migration.

Example: this website

vareonhq.com

Our own site is built the way we build client sites: pages written around the questions buyers ask, fast on a phone, structured data for the business and every service, enquiry tracking on every form, and published prices. It is also the site our monthly AI visibility scorecard measures, so we see what works before we recommend it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Every website is priced on its scope: the number of pages, whether you need copywriting, any integrations such as bookings or a CRM, and how much moves across from your old site. You get a fixed quote after a free 30-minute call, before any work starts.

How long does it take?

Starter website: usually 3–5 weeks. We confirm the timeline with the quote, before any work starts.

Do you use templates?

No. We design each site around your business and customers. We do use a consistent set of building blocks behind the scenes, which keeps a custom site affordable without it looking like anyone else’s.

Can you write the content for us?

Yes. Copywriting is available as an add-on. We interview you, look at your competitors and the questions customers search for, then write pages you review and approve.

Will I lose my Google rankings if I replace my site?

Not if the move is planned. We map every important old page to its new address and set up redirects, so rankings and existing links carry over. Up to 20 redirects are included.

Where is the website hosted?

In your own accounts wherever possible, so you are never locked in. Hosting can also be included in a care plan.

Do you build online stores?

For small catalogues and simple payments, yes, quoted separately. For large product ranges we usually recommend a dedicated ecommerce platform and can set it up or connect it to your site.

What do you need from us to start?

A short list of your services, who your customers are, any existing content and photos, and access to your domain. We handle the rest.

The rest of the build.
