APIs & integrations
The backend your product runs on, connected to the tools you already use.
What are APIs and integrations?
An API is how one piece of software talks to another, and integrations use APIs to move information between your app and the tools you already use, such as calendars, accounting software and CRMs. Built properly, information is entered once and arrives everywhere it’s needed.
What problem do integrations solve?
An app that can’t talk to your calendar, accounting or CRM creates double entry. Someone copies details across, makes the occasional mistake, and the numbers never quite match between systems.
Integrations remove that step. They also need to cope when another service is down or changes, so they’re built to retry, record what happened and alert someone, instead of failing silently.
What you get
A dependable backend and connections that move information between systems automatically.
APIs & integrations
What’s included
Data mapping
Where each piece of information starts, where it needs to go and which system owns it.
Backend services and data storage
The system your product runs on, built to handle real use.
Integrations with your tools
Calendars, accounting, CRMs, payments and other services you depend on.
Webhooks and scheduled sync
Updates that happen the moment something changes, or on a schedule where that’s more reliable.
API design and documentation
A documented API, if partners or other systems need to connect to yours.
Error handling and monitoring
Retries, logs and alerts, so a failed connection gets noticed and fixed.
Who APIs and integrations suit
A good fit for
- Products that depend on third-party tools. Payments, calendars or messaging at the heart of the product.
- Businesses consolidating several systems. Fewer places to update, and one source of truth.
- Platforms that need a public API. Partners or customers connecting their own systems to yours.
Probably not the right fit if
- You only need two off-the-shelf tools to share data. A ready-made connector may be cheaper.
- The tool you want to connect has no API or export at all. We’ll tell you what’s reliable first.
- The process itself isn’t settled yet. Automating an unclear process makes it harder to change.
How it works
How it works
- 01
Map the data
Where each piece of information starts, where it needs to go and who owns it.
- 02
Build the connections
Integrations with retries and clear error reporting, not silent failures.
- 03
Monitor
Alerts when a connection fails, so problems are fixed before they compound.
How long does an integration take?
One integration is included in an app’s first version, which usually takes 8–12 weeks. Adding an integration to an existing app depends on the other system’s API, and we confirm the timeline in your fixed quote once we’ve looked at it.
How much do integrations cost?
An app’s first version includes one integration, such as payments or a calendar. Extra integrations are add-ons, included in the same fixed quote.

Questions
About APIs & integrations
Can you connect a system that has no API?
Sometimes, through exports, email parsing or scheduled imports. We assess what’s reliable before recommending it.
What happens if a connected service is down?
Integrations are built to retry and to report failures, so data isn’t lost when another system has an outage.
What if a provider changes their API?
Connections are monitored, so a change shows up as an alert rather than missing data. Updating integrations is part of ongoing support.
Who owns the integration code?
You do, like the rest of the code, with documentation of every connection so another developer can follow it.
Can our customers connect their systems to ours?
Yes, with a public API. It’s designed, documented and secured so partners only reach the data they’re allowed to.
